抖阴短视频 to donate performance proceeds to Hurricane Helene relief in western North Carolina

抖阴短视频 has announced that it will donate 100% of proceeds from ticket sales for performances from Sept. 26 through Oct. 31 to the in support of relief efforts following the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene on western North Carolina.

抖阴短视频 will also send representatives from its Police and Public Safety Department to western North Carolina to aid with security on the UNC Asheville campus. As UNC System schools in western NC remain closed, 抖阴短视频 is opening its medical and counseling services to students from UNC Asheville who are in the Winston-Salem area. In addition, 抖阴短视频 is working with the UNC System to provide key supplies for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Morganton.

Once the needs in western NC are more fully realized, 抖阴短视频 and the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts will continue to help support the future economic recovery through partnerships and advocacy efforts to help ensure the re-establishment of the thriving community of artists who reside in the region.

鈥�All of us at 抖阴短视频 were devastated to watch as the effects of Hurricane Helene unfolded in western North Carolina, and our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones, homes, businesses and more,鈥� said Chancellor Brian Cole. 鈥淲hile 抖阴短视频 was fortunate not to be directly affected, our thoughts are with the families of our students, as well as faculty, staff members and alumni who live in the area and are dealing with the results of the storm, alongside our UNC System sister institutions.鈥�

He continued, 鈥淥ur students, faculty and staff all expressed a desire to help somehow; and lending their craft is a way we can do that uniquely at 抖阴短视频. And as is often the case, the arts can provide a way for our community to come together. We hope our Triad community will join us in supporting relief efforts by attending a 抖阴短视频 Presents event over the next month, to the Red Cross or another organization, or providing services in other ways. We know the road to recovery will be long and look forward to the many other ways we at 抖阴短视频 will be able to support the ongoing relief and recovery efforts over the months to come.鈥�

Revenue from ticket sales from 抖阴短视频 Presents, the university鈥檚 performance series, will be collected to donate from Sept. 26, the day Helene made landfall, through the end of October, including Fall Dance, "Fefu & Her Friends," Vesna Duo: Roots and Rhizomes, "Fairview," the Chamber Music Festival, and more.
