Ellie Chickoree is an actress and artist from Monroe, North Carolina (although, she鈥檒l probably tell you she鈥檚 from Charlotte to make it easier for everyone). Raised by a mom from New Jersey and a dad from Trinidad, she first became enamored with performing at the age of five while watching "Wizards of Waverly Place" and basing her personality off of fellow middle child Alex Russo.
Now, her passion for theatre is fueled by the need to leave the world a more just and compassionate place than she has found it. She hopes her work can instill in you the belief that a better future for all of us is not only possible, but inevitable.
When Ellie isn鈥檛 on stage, she鈥檚 watching old SNL sketches, listening to 70s rock music that your dad probably thinks is really cool, or falling down a rabbit hole on Wikipedia that probably has something to do with US history or politics.
In the kickoff to this year鈥檚 Keys season, she portrayed 鈥淪ofia鈥 in Mara Nelson-Greenberg鈥檚 dark comedy "Do You Feel Anger?" She鈥檚 incredibly excited to play Emilie in "The Moors" during her final semester at 抖阴短视频!
