I. Purpose

This regulation addresses the issue of compensatory time for Ƶ SHRA employees exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) who work more than forty hours a week.

II. Scope

This regulation applies to all FLSA-exempt SHRA employees at Ƶ.

This regulation does not apply to SHRA and EHRA employees who are subject to FLSA.

A. Full-time FLSA-exempt employees are expected to work as many hours as necessary to complete their job.

B. Any FSLA-exempt employee shall not receive compensatory time off for hours worked in excess of forty hours in a workweek.

C. Exceptions to this regulation:

1. Supplemental Pay Regulation;

2. Additional Employment Regulation; AND

3. Adverse Weather Regulation
